French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent has died at the age of 71, hailed as a 20th century cultural innovator who revolutionized the way women dressed. “He was the first to put women in pants, the first to put them in tuxedos, the first to put them in masculine clothes, the first to employ black models,” he said. “He was audacious, he revolutionised the trade.” He will be sadly missed.

Tracy Ellis Ross never disappoints and she was looking great at the Chanel flagship store opening on the trendy Robertson Blvd in Los Angeles , California. She looks great I love this dress .Needless to say I love Chanel the femininity is timeless and classic.

Last night BET aired a show about the lack of black models in the industry. Black women spend an estimated 20 billion dollars a year in fashion adn still we are not represented on the runways and in ads for designers. BET aired a special last night that discussed all of this in detail with guests such as Bethann Hardison , Iman , Tyson Beckford, and Naomi Campbell to name a few. European Vogue decided they would do something about this . I think as black women we need to speak out against this I know myself as an avid consumer lol , I contribute to a good bit of that 20 billion. I also want to commend designers such as Kimora Lee Simmons and Sean Combs for utilizing the black model and showing that we come in all colors and variations . Congrats to Noemie for this cover it looks gorgeous.

Ladies get ready for the Cosmos and Manolo's . The sex and the city movie hits theaters tomorrow. I cant wait Carrie is my favorite character. I have been a fan of the show since its debut so I cant wait !!!!
