Today I was trying to wear a trend but ended up wearing two. I loved this shirt when I saw it at Jcpenny can I just say WELCOME NINA G. Since Nina took over the clothes are omg. GORGE. Well before she came they had made some strides with the Charlotte Ronson, Arden B, and Olsenboyle. They have really added more fashion foward options to their arsenal and it looks great. You see all the trends from leather, neon, abtract , tribal etc. You have to go check them out. They have this great color block blazer I have to have. I will do a post on my top pics from there later in the week. The pumps I found out about from Brittney on Pockets and Bows one of my favorite blogs. The shoes are a look alike from the Christian Loubutin Un bout pump. I wasnt really sure when I looked on go jane but I ordered them anyway bc I was in love with the pump when I saw Beyonce and  Kim Kardashian in them. Hi Guys, I decided to wear a body con skirt today at work. I was going for the cool casual look like the put together look but not. I think I acheived it. I work a kind of  long shirt but I didnt like how it looked with no structure so I added a belt. Without the belt it made me look bigger. Attention ladies just because you are a little thicker than the norm dont hide your figure in big oversized clothes it just makes you look larger and doesnt really work out. I have alot behind me if you know what I mean and I was going to work and not a party so I had to make sure even with the belt the shirt covered most of the backside and it did. Turned out to be really cute. I didnt want to match all the way down I wanted to make it less serious and more casual so I added my neon pink sandals to add some flair. Check it out. This is one of my more cas looks with flats and a ponytail.  I love this loops in my hair bc I can pull my hair up with no problem it is the best. The shoes are great I had to get the from target in Atlanta bc my target sold out of black they are very close to the popular dolce cita archer sandals but for 14.99. Hello Fashionistas, Today I incorporated two trends in one outfit without even knowing it. My shirt which I got from Walmart OMG I still can't believe it is Aztec print and I found these neon pink Steve Madden patent pumps at burlington for the sale price of 29.99 but they were on sales for 19.99. I couldn't believe it. The shirt was a mistake I was going in Walmart to get a present for a little boy for a bday party my daughter was invited to and on my way to the toy section I was walking down the isle and saw the print. I picked the top up and noticed the rolled sleeved and exposed zipper in the back. It resembles a color block top I got from target months back. They have some great prints and pretty solids I love shirts like this that stop mid hip. I am so short that I like the length a longer shirt just makes me look bigger than I am. Today I was feeling light and airy so I decided to finally wear my Jessica Simpson waleo Miami green pumps that I have coveted since purchasing them off hautelook. I absolutely love her shoes but the waleo pumps are extra gorgeous they are comfortable and the look great on the foot. I love the colors I have 2 pair but would like them ok every color lol. Good Afternoon Fashionistas, I decided to go for a more tropical themed look . Well really I needed to wear my white jeans lol . I am not really into wearing white bottoms after Labor Day, I know I know but for some reason to me on me it doesnt look right.Others maybe a different story. I also have on my Steve Madden Pammmy wedges which I LOVE. I have these in two colors they are so comfy and cute and complete any outfit. I will have a post coming up soon with my picks for fall. Good Monday Ladies, I was in a blue mood so I decided to wear a blue themed outfit , and no I wasnt sad just was feeling cobalt blue on this day. These shoes are heart and soul , my first purchase from them I got them from hautelook comfortable from 8-12 after that not so much lol. They were still cute and you have to sacrifice comfort for fashion. My necklace was worn by Andrea Kelly on Hollywood Ex's when I saw her with it I was like wow. It is always nice to see things you wear on tv it validates my fashion choices in some way. The shirt is much cuter in person there is a zipper in the back of it. I have like 3 of them from Target I love a good shirt. I have been on a mad hunt for all things colored jeans. I LOVE COLOR and I have been color blocking before it was a trend lol. I hate matching unless it is worth it. I had bought a few pair of premimum jeans in orange and seafoam green from Target for 24.99 they were great and fit great but they only had certain colors. When I went in old navy and saw the colors they had I died and the fit omg is great. I have had trouble with old navy jeans in the past because I have a large behind lol to say the least and my body type is very curvy. They fit great.  They run 34.50 but they were on sale this weekend for 29.00. The length is also great they stop right at the ankle , I hate when skinny jeans are long , who wants that especially if you are like me and wear heels everyday and want to show them off. I love skinny jeans because I can showcase my heels. I think I will wear them forever I will never go back to a bootcut which I do own and wear from time to time but nothing beats a great ski

I finally found some lucite heels. Actually I saw them on Gabi Fresh website and when I went to Dillards I hade to have them. They are so comfortable and very throwback to the 70's era. I wore them out one night with a coral top and seafoam green jeans and they were cute. When I wore them to work below I decided to be a little more casual with a beige top and skinny jeans. Good Morning My fellow Fashionistas, This past Saturday I got loop hair and I love it. It is not a new technique but it is something new that my stylist is doing. It is where hair is looped into your hair strand by strand and its great if you want to put your weave up into a ponytail or a braid and it is flat to your head like it is your own and not all puffy like it would be with a sew in. I am still rocking my bun, I love this hairstyle I think it is so chic and modern. Moving on to the outfit. I think every shirt I wear lately is from Old Navy. I love these blousy silk tops I think I have them in ever color they came out with lol. It is so easy to throw one on with skinny jeans and a great heel and there you go. Easy breezy. This summer is hot enough to have to worry about layers or looking good. Simple and fun. I stalked this shirt at Old Navy for months. Only to find it at my local location and I am convinced it was a return because they only had my size one day and the next week I went in there and they all were sold out. The shirt has little ships on it it is too cute, I am gonna order the beige and brown version from online also. I am really feeling Old Navy lately they fell off a few years back but seems like they got their stride back. I am in there every week now lol. I have almost all their silk summer tops so cute. Tuesday was my birthday. Yep the big 31 whoo hoo. I like being 31 I feel like I am really coming into my own now , with a marriage a baby . My life is complete. Especially when you are 31 looking 21 lol. I wanted to be festive so I decided to do my favorite thing of the moment which is COLOR BLOCK..... I want to also speak about these jeans omg they are the best thing ever. They are from target , called skinny premium denim 29.99 but I got them on sale for 24.99. They fit so great I went the next week and bought another pair. I was kind of scared as already raved about the jean pair of premium denim from there but sometimes colored jeans run smaller but they fit perfectly. My other favorite lately is old navy. They have been having some great blouses that fit into my color obsession. I am color person I loved color before it was in. This week I wore a few good outfits but I guess I was too lazy to take a picture and last week I couldnt get anyone to take my picture. They are incredibly tall with a 6 inch heel and 3 inch platform. I love them even more in person I got them last week, eventhough I almost busted my butt in them this morning, my ankle thanks me lol. Like I always say wearing heels makes me feel better , plus your always closer to God the taller you are :). These are all my favorite looks. Of course my favorite look of the night was BEYONCE. She looked gorge in her post baby body and the purple feather train was to die for. Second was her sister Solange in Rachel Roy. Yellow is her color. Lala was a sight in blue in Zac Posen. Rihanna was in Tom Ford. Liked everything but the hair. Paula Patton was in Vera Wang. It was a little bride but beautiful. Rashida Jones and The four other ladies looked very summer/spring in Tori Burch.

Sorry I have not been posting lately. I have been uber busy. I am vowing to do better. Between my baby almost being 11 months omg where did the time go and me starting grad school I have been running around like a chicken lol. I am going to start posting my outfits everyday. Every blog I like going to is to view peoples outfits so I said maybe someone wants to see mine. That way I can post at least 2 times a week.
